RETURNS – EXPERIENCES AND / OR SERVICES
We're happy to make refunds on unredeemed experiences and services bought direct from Gifted Local within 14 days after the purchase. All refunds will be made to the person who made the purchase and they will be refunded directly via the original method of payment within 30 days of the refund request.
RETURNS - PRODUCTS
We understand that sometimes you change your mind about something you’ve bought, or there is a fault with the item or it may have been incorrectly described, so we’re happy to offer a refund (or exchange) within 14 days from when you’ve received the product. If you live in Tottenham, Wood Green, Highgate, Muswell Hill, Crouch End, Kensal, Willesden, Harlesden and Queen's Park (or the immediate surrounding areas) Gifted Local will come and collect the item at no cost to you. If you live outside of these areas, you will be responsible for paying any necessary posting and packaging costs. This applies to cancellable products only as certain goods or non cancellable products are exempt from being returned (there’s a guide below to help you see what’s cancellable and what isn’t). All refunds will be made directly to the original method of payment within 30 days of the product(s) being returned to the Seller.
To be eligible for a return, the product must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. Please note that you are liable for any diminished value of the product resulting from the handling of the product in any way other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the product while you are responsible for it (this includes, in the context of a return, when the product is in transit back to the seller). If a product is faulty, please don’t destroy or throw it away before you’ve contacted us at Gifted Local and we’ve agreed that doing so won't affect any refund you may be entitled to.
WHEN CAN YOU RETURN?
(a) If you have just changed your mind about the Product.
(b) If the product is faulty or incorrectly described you have a legal right to end the seller contract and return the product.
HOW TO MAKE A RETURN
Please email firstname.lastname@example.org with the order number and state that you’d like a refund. If the item is faulty, please give us a full description and, if possible, attach a photo to the email.
WHEN CAN’T YOU RETURN?
Unfortunately, some products are non-cancellable and non-refundable:
(a) Anything that is made to your specific requirements (ie, outside of standard customisation options offered by the seller to all customers), is personalised or otherwise can't be resold due to a bespoke element;
(b) Perishable products (like food or flowers);
(c) Creative pieces that are specially commissioned when you place an Order, like artwork, bespoke products such as prints or toys, personalised items, stationery designs, sculpture, and ceramics and any other Products or designs that are specifically created for the Customer;
(d) Personal products sold with a hygiene seal (like cosmetics or underwear) where the seal is broken; and
(e) Cosmetic products, hair accessories, pierced earrings including pendant earrings, underwear, swimwear, bibs and teething accessories due to hygiene reasons.
